YOU ARE LOOKING AT A VERY OLD AND USED INSTRUMENT. Quite a rare guitar as most Auditions were solid bodies, and hard to find. It plays nicely and is a nice lightweight guitar fir for any collection. Great sounds from the two single coil pickups, volume and tone controls and individual switching for each pickup, body size is somewhere between Les Paul and 335, good action and very nice to play, loud enough to play unplugged in fact, a good looking and playing guitar for the collector or for someone that wants something a liitle bit out of the ordinary.
They sound very loud, but clear and brilliant, ideal for twang and surf sounds, but also funk and everything else that needs twang. The guitar works fine, the electrics work fine, delivering a very rich and warm, yet clear tone from the pickups. This guitar is fully working with many traces of use (please check all photos). Also the “Audition” badge/logo on the headstock is missing (there are now some scratches there instead!).
Teisco guitar models plus#
There are two excellent pickups with white tops and chrome surrounds each with an on/off switch all fitted into the black scratchplate, plus there are volume and tone controls. It’s a small hollow bodied electric guitar finished in a red/yellow/black sunburst with a fully bound body and is in a good condition for a guitar thats around fifty years old.
